The Montana Counties GIS Explorer is a full-stack web mapping application built with Leaflet.js and a PostGIS/Django backend. It gives county staff and residents on-demand access to parcel data, road centerlines, address points, and real-time MDT road weather station data across Montana.Key features include per-county layer visibility, ESRI dynamic road labels, a unified identify panel for clicking any map feature, and an RWIS weather station layer showing live air temperatures color-coded by condition.
